Jewelry Care

As with all fine jewelry, Coco & Om’s pieces need to be treated with care. Natural wear and tear will occur over time. We offer the following recommendations for keeping your jewelry in safe and good condition:

•If working with household chemicals or cleaning fluid, please remove your jewelry.

•Put jewelry on after applying lotions, perfumes, cosmetics and hairspray.

•Remove jewelry before entering chlorinated pools and spas as the chlorine can cause color or structural reactions to occur in the metal.

•A Jewelers Rouge Polishing Cloth can be used for removing dirt and tarnish from gold and silver. (Available online from various websites.)

•White vinegar is a suggested at home cleaner for diamonds.

•Enamel can be kept clean and shiny with a microfiber cloth and lukewarm water.

•Always dry your jewelry with a soft cloth after cleaning.

•When storing your enamel jewelry, wrap in tissue paper or soft cloth. Our Coco & Om bag is also ideal.

•Avoid dropping enamel jewelry on hard surfaces.

•Should you chip an enamel piece, please contact us at info@cocoandom.com for a repair quote. We will be happy to have our expert enamel craftsman restore your item.

•Please contact us for replacing the adjustable, slip-knot cord for your bracelet when the original wears out.

A CLOTHING CARE NOTE:  As with all jewelry that you might be wearing, Coco & Om reminds you to be careful when putting on or taking off your fine laces and knits.
